Laminating the kiel
With around 5°C max outside, we're still not able to start glueing the hull parts.
Started building a platform for the hull to be build on - will upload pics sum time next week.
Here're sum pictures of us laminating the Kiel
Specs:
6*(150cm*5cm*5cm) Beech stirps - they're not as linear as wished, sum knotholes aswell, but they'll do
250g Epoxy Rasin
lots of clamps

Started preparing the diagonal strips to properly clamp down the whole thing - one layer of thin plane-surface tape did the trick.
After epoxying the beech strips we started clamping the strips down (red handle clamps) and then used the bigger clamps to apply pressure on the glued surfaces.
Left it to dry thoroughly for about a week, came out pretty nice and plane.
will post the shaping (attempts) asap.
Thanks 4 reading btw - its pretty hard for me to 'tech-talk' in english^^
